The U.S. Spiritist Medical Association (SMA-US), a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization created in 2006, supports and advances the paradigm of integrative medicine in its goal to bridge medicine and spirituality. Focusing on treatment approaches that champion the body-mind-spirit concept, the SMA-US proposes a new approach to healthcare based on the spiritual principles of Spiritism1.

The SMA-US is affiliated with the International Spiritist Medical Association [link], which currently counts with representative associations in 8 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Portugal, Switzerland, and United States

SMA-US Upcoming Publications

SMA-US will soon launch the first issue of Soul Health, an electronic publication containing selected articles from the original A Saude da Alma, published quarterly by the Brazilian Spiritist Medical Association (AME-BRASIL).
